Bar Fight

Bar Fight

Sergeant Franz Synki’s Point of View

Franz Synki sat with a few of his squad mates in a bar in Vienna, enjoying a well-deserved break. The news about Empress Spotty's dress had reached everywhere, and the bar's patrons were buzzing with opinions. While most were positive, one particularly loud patron caught his attention.

“Can you believe she wore that to the Great Wall? What kind of leader dresses like that?” the patron sneered.

Franz's blood began to boil. Empress Spotty had not only pardoned him but had also given him a new lease on life. He couldn’t let this disrespect slide. He leaned forward, setting his drink down with a thud.

“Watch your mouth,” Franz said, his voice low but dangerous. “That’s our Empress you’re talking about. She’s done more for this world than you could ever dream of.”

The Patron’s Point of View

The patron, a middle-aged man named Karl, had a few drinks in him and felt bolder than usual. He’d seen the pictures of Empress Spotty and couldn’t understand how a leader could dress so provocatively. He voiced his opinion loudly, not expecting any backlash.

Suddenly, he felt a heavy gaze on him and turned to see a group of soldiers staring him down. The one who spoke, a tough-looking sergeant, looked like he could break him in half without breaking a sweat.

Karl felt a twinge of fear but tried to play it off. “Hey, I’m just saying it’s not appropriate. Leaders should set an example.”

“Listen, buddy,” Private Lisa Novak said, standing up next to Franz. “The Empress has saved our lives more times than I can count. She’s earned the right to wear whatever she damn well pleases. Maybe you should be grateful instead of judgmental.”

“You’re all traitors!” Karl spat back, his face turning red with anger. “Following someone who’s not even human! She’s a freak!”

One of Franz’s Squad Mate’s Point of View

Private Lisa Novak couldn’t believe the patron's audacity. She had immense respect for Empress Spotty and couldn’t stand people who judged her without understanding her contributions.

Before she could respond, a few more patrons joined Karl, supporting his insults. “Yeah, what kind of soldier are you, following a freak like her?” one of them jeered.

Lisa felt a surge of anger. “Say that again, I dare you,” she growled, stepping forward.

The Bartender’s Point of View

Marco, the bartender, had been polishing glasses and keeping an ear on the conversations. He noticed the growing tension at the soldiers’ table and sighed, ready to intervene if things got out of hand. He knew better than to mess with soldiers, especially ones loyal to Empress Spotty.

When the patron started spouting off, Marco felt a pang of annoyance. He respected Spotty, and these soldiers were regulars who spent good money here. He decided to support them.

“Hey, man,” Marco called out, trying to defuse the situation. “Why don’t you take this outside? We don’t need any trouble in here.”

Outside the Bar

The group moved outside, the tension palpable. Franz and his squad mates squared off against Karl and his supporters. The insults continued to fly.

“You’re a bunch of fools!” Karl yelled. “Following that monster like she’s some kind of savior. She’s not even one of us!”

“That’s enough!” Franz roared, stepping forward. “You’ve crossed the line.”

Without warning, Karl and his supporters lunged at Franz and his squad mates. The fight was chaotic but brief. Franz’s military training kicked in, and he swiftly incapacitated Karl with a well-placed punch. Lisa and the other soldiers handled Karl’s supporters with similar efficiency.

The Aftermath

Karl and his friends lay groaning on the ground, clearly defeated. Franz stood over them, breathing heavily. “Let this be a lesson,” he said, his voice cold. “You don’t disrespect the Empress. Not on our watch.”

The soldiers walked back into the bar, the confrontation over. Marco nodded to them as they re-entered. “Drinks on the house,” he said, acknowledging their loyalty and skill.

Franz sat back down with his squad mates, the camaraderie stronger than ever. As they continued their evening, he couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride for standing up for Spotty. She had given him a second chance, and he would always have her back, just as she had his.
