Final Moments

Final Moments

Admiral Marcus Corvin stood at attention aboard the Zmajcica-g, watching as the final pre-jump preparations were underway. His nerves were steady, but there was no denying the enormity of what they were about to do. An invasion of Hell... this is unprecedented.

Corvin, a seasoned military strategist, had participated in many Imperial campaigns, but none compared to this. The fleets waiting in position were a testament to the Empire’s might, but Hell was a place few understood. We’re well-prepared, but nothing could truly prepare us for what’s waiting there.

As Spotty arrived on the bridge, Corvin bowed his head in respect. "The fleets are ready, Empress. We’ll bring Hell to its knees." His voice was confident, but inside, he couldn't shake the weight of responsibility resting on him. Victory or death.

General Abdul Azza’s Point of View

General Abdul Azza, leader of the ground forces, stood beside Admiral Corvin, arms crossed as he studied the battle plans. Two trillion Marines... and that’s just the first wave. The scale of this is mind-boggling.

He trusted his men, the Spartans, and the Marines he commanded. They were the best the Empire had, but Azza couldn’t help but wonder about the unknown variables waiting in Hell. It’s not just numbers. We’re fighting in their home, in their domain. But like any seasoned general, he would adapt, overcome, and lead his men to victory.

"I’ve led campaigns before," he thought, but nothing like this. We’ll hit them with everything we have."

Ila’s Point of View

Ila watched Spotty from the corner of the bridge, her usual calm demeanor masking the swirling emotions beneath the surface. She’s never backed down from a challenge, but this... Hell itself?

Ila had followed Spotty through many battles, trusted her judgment without question. But now, as they stood on the precipice of an invasion into the most dangerous realm imaginable, Ila felt a chill run down her spine. Whatever happens... we’ll face it together.

"I am ready," she said softly to herself. "For whatever comes."

Lord Asmodeus’ Point of View

Lord Asmodeus stood silently by, his expression unreadable. For him, this wasn’t just another battle. Hell is my home, and now I stand poised to invade it with Spotty by my side. What irony.

His loyalty to Spotty was unquestionable, but the thought of returning to Hell stirred ancient emotions within him — anger, perhaps, or something darker. The devils will not welcome me, not after my defection. Good. Let them come.

He felt a cruel satisfaction at the idea of turning against his former allies. This time, I will take pleasure in tearing them apart.

Lucifer’s Point of View

Lucifer gazed out at the stars, a smirk playing on his lips. It’s finally time. After all these years, we’re going back.

Lucifer, like Asmodeus, had deep ties to Hell, but he felt no hesitation. Hell is a stepping stone. Nothing more. The real game is still to come.

He glanced over at Spotty, the fire in her eyes. I’ve fought beside many powerful beings, but none like her. His loyalty to her was genuine, and despite his devilish nature, he had come to admire her strength.

"Hell is just another battlefield," he thought. "And I’m more than ready for it."

Whistler’s Point of View

Whistler, usually silent and observing, perched nearby, ever the enigma. His mind calculated the probabilities of the upcoming invasion, analyzing data from every source he had access to. High risk, high reward. Spotty will need all the help she can get.

Though his outward appearance remained calm, Whistler knew the stakes were enormous. The power of Hell’s legions... we’ll be facing the worst of the worst.

But his faith in Spotty was absolute. She’s always come out on top.

Grand Admiral David Lipovina’s Point of View

Grand Admiral David Lipovina stood aboard his flagship, deep in thought. He had been given the weighty responsibility of defending the Empire while Spotty and her forces were gone. Holding the fort... it's less glamorous but just as crucial.

He trusted the fleet commanders and the vast array of forces under his command. Still, the thought of Spotty being away, fighting on such a grand scale, left him uneasy. I’ll keep things running smoothly. No matter what happens, the Empire will be ready.

General Marko Novak’s Point of View

General Marko Novak reviewed defense strategies, ensuring the Empire's forces were spread strategically across all potential threat zones. This is no ordinary campaign. Spotty’s army is engaged in Hell, but we cannot let our guard down here.

He knew the importance of staying vigilant. No room for error. Spotty’s counting on us.

Fabricator General Shoddy’s Point of View

Fabricator General Shoddy was immensely proud of the armada he had constructed. His machines, his designs, were about to partake in the grandest battle ever waged by the Empire. Everything has led to this. I’ve created perfection, and they will carry the day.

His loyalty to Spotty was absolute, but deep down, there was excitement too. Let’s see if my creations are as indomitable as I’ve built them to be.

Random Imperial Soldier’s Point of View

Aboard one of the many ships waiting to jump, an Imperial Marine tightened his grip on his weapon, nerves tingling with anticipation. We’re going to Hell... He had trained for years, but nothing could have prepared him for this. Still, like every Marine, he was ready to fight for the Empire.

"Let’s make history."
