As he observed the Imperial fleet on their journey to the Sol system, he was awestruck by their might. The Empire's strength was undeniable, and any thoughts of resistance evaporated.

As they approached Earth, the passive scans revealed the sheer scale and technological superiority of the Empire. Arrival at the Imperial War Council

As Chief Ardon entered the imperial war council chamber, he took a deep breath and bowed before Empress Spotty. The room fell silent, and all eyes turned to the Dralathi leader. This was the moment of truth, the beginning of a new chapter for his people under the Empire's rule.

"Rise chief Ardon" Spotty said and continued "it is my understanding that you would like to sign an unconditional surrender and join the Empire under any terms I find acceptable." she said with a neutral voice. "Yes madam Empress" Ardon replied and continued "continuing things war would mean the destruction of my people. This goes against all my warrior instincts but I have to do what I must to save my people". "I appreciate your honesty and willingness to listen to reason." Spotty said and continued "but your people have committed some heinous crimes against many people including the Assurans" she said and glanced at Lyra before continuing "I will accept your surrender under these terms. The Dralathi faction you lead will cease any hostilities against any other civilizations not at war with the empire, overall command of all your forces will pass to the empire, any species you have subjugated will be released and offered the choice of independence or joining the Empire, you will hand over anyone who is suspected of war crimes to be tried by imperial courts, you have my word they will be tried fairly, you will pay war reparations to the Empire and you will become a part of the Empire and swear your fealty to the Empire and to me as your Empress. In exchange the Empire will help you fight other Dralathi factions and rebuild after all the damage caused by the war. Do you accept these terms?".

Chief Ardon's Point of View

Chief Ardon felt the weight of the moment as he rose. Spotty's terms were severe but fair. He knew that accepting these terms meant a future for his people, even if it meant surrendering their autonomy. His warrior pride was deeply wounded, but he was prepared to make this sacrifice for the greater good.

"Yes, Madam Empress," Ardon replied solemnly. "I accept these terms. The Dralathi faction I lead will cease hostilities, transfer command to the Empire, release all subjugated species, hand over war criminals, pay reparations, and swear fealty to you as our Empress. In return, we hope for the Empire's assistance in fighting the remaining Dralathi factions and rebuilding our worlds."

We are prepared to serve and to rebuild, to atone for our actions, and to forge a new path forward under your leadership."

Spotty's Point of View

Spotty listened to Ardon's words with a sense of validation. He felt a sense of duty and pride in being part of the Empire, and a renewed commitment to his role in ensuring its success.

Chief Ardon's Reply

Ardon took a deep breath and continued, "I also wish to extend my personal commitment to ensuring a smooth transition for my people. We will work closely with your advisors and follow the Empire's guidance. I understand the road ahead will be difficult, but we are ready to face these challenges together."

His words hung in the air, a solemn vow that echoed the shared hope for a unified future. The room was filled with a collective sense of purpose as they all prepared to embark on this new chapter together.

"Now Chief Ardon, before you leave, I want something to be clear. Our people were at war and both of us did some pretty brutal things to each other. Such is the nature of war and what the Empire did to your people was done out of strategic necessity not due to some kind of my pleasure in doing it. Now that you are a part of the Empire that is behind us. The Empire will hold up it's end of our deal as long as you hold up your end." Spotty stated as she handed him the ascension treaty and continued "Here is your ascension treaty to the Empire. Everything we have agreed to here is written in it. Feel free to read it thoroughly before signing it to make sure there's no hidden clauses in it although I assure you there are none. Please leave me with my inner circle, we must discuss something. Once you have read and signed it you can return it to me. It's written both in the imperial common tongue and in Dralathi so you should have no problems reading it. But you can go to the palace library and cross reference both versions to make sure they both say the same thing. Are we understood?" Spotty finished. Chief Ardon took the treaty and replied Of course madam Empress,"I'll go read and sign it right away". As Chief Ardon was escorted out of the imperial war council chambers Spotty turned to the other's and said "Now that that is out of the way I want to hear your preliminary plans for the invasion of Hell".

Chief Ardon's Point of View

Chief Ardon felt a mix of relief and resolve as he took the ascension treaty from Empress Spotty. Her words had been clear and direct, a reminder of the brutal realities of war, but also a promise of a new beginning. The weight of his people's future rested in his hands as he left the chamber. He intended to scrutinize the treaty thoroughly, ensuring there were no hidden traps. Ardon knew that his people’s survival depended on his wisdom and prudence.

"Of course, Madam Empress," Ardon replied with a respectful bow. "I'll go read and sign it right away."

As he was escorted out, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. This was the first step towards a new era for the Dralathi people.

Grand Admiral David Lipovina's Point of View

Grand Admiral Lipovina felt a surge of anticipation. The successful integration of the Dralathi faction was a strategic victory, but now his focus was on the larger, more dangerous task ahead. He had run countless simulations and knew the invasion of Hell would be unprecedented in scale and complexity. As he prepared to speak, he was determined to convey both the possibilities and the challenges.

"The invasion of Hell is possible but will be difficult and will be the largest deployment of imperial forces yet," Lipovina began. "We will also need to keep a strong reserve force ready to defend our territory if the powers that be decide to retaliate."

General Marko Novak's Point of View

General Novak's mind was already calculating logistics and strategies. Integrating the Dralathi forces would bolster their strength, but the invasion of Hell required meticulous planning. He felt a grim determination, understanding the magnitude of the task ahead. His confidence in their combined forces was tempered by the respect for the formidable challenges they would face.

Lord Asmodeus's Point of View

Lord Asmodeus felt a deep sense of purpose. The successful negotiation with Ardon reinforced his belief in the Empire's destiny. The invasion of Hell was a monumental task, but it was also an opportunity to strike a decisive blow against the powers that be. He was ready to provide any insights he could, knowing that his knowledge of the powers that be would be crucial in the coming conflict.

Ila's Point of View

Ila felt a strange sense of solidarity as she listened. Her past as a power that be gave her a unique perspective on the upcoming invasion. She was determined to support Spotty and the Empire in any way she could. The successful integration of the Dralathi faction was a positive step, but the real test lay ahead.

As Grand Admiral Lipovina spoke, Ila's thoughts turned to the strategies they would need to employ and the challenges they would face.

Random Imperial Marine's Point of View

The marine standing guard felt a sense of pride and duty. Watching the high-level discussions unfold was inspiring. He understood the gravity of the situation and felt honored to be part of the Empire's efforts. The prospect of invading Hell was daunting, but he trusted in the leadership and strength of the Empire.

The room fell silent as Grand Admiral Lipovina finished speaking, the enormity of their task hanging in the air. Each person present knew the challenges ahead, but they also felt a shared resolve to face them together.

The meeting about the invasion of hell progressed for hours with each of the people present giving his opinion and estimates.

Grand Admiral David Lipovina began first by explaining first that according to the preliminary scouting done by imperial intelligence and what Spotty, Ila and Whistler said about Hell's defenses they would need at least 5000 fleets to ensure success. It would be the largest single deployment of imperial forces yet. Such an armada could be assembled but it would take time, a year or so perhaps according to Fabricator General Shoddy's assessment. Additionally they would need a similar amount of forces in reserve both to protect Imperial space from any potential retaliation by the powers that be and to reinforce the initial assault in case it proved necessary. Additionally all Imperial space would need to be heavily fortified as extra defense against any potential retaliation against the powers that be.

General Marko Novak gave similar estimates regarding the number of ground forces required, the entire invasion army would need to be at least 1 trillion strong. With untold numbers of extra forces held in reserve.

Lord Asmodeus raised the question of where exactly Lord Berith who the powers that be intended to send to replace Ila was. Their original plan was for him to replace Ila and lead the Dralathi in her place but as of now his location was still unknown.

Fabricator General Shoddy explained that Imperial industry was working around the clock to provide the necessary forces with the equipment they would need. According to his estimates it would take around a year from them to be ready.

Whistler remained mostly quite, but his head was in turmoil. He couldn't be sure but he believed that this was going to be the start of the greatest war in the history of the multiverse.

The question of who would lead such an invasion also presented a great dilemma. Spotty, Ila and Lucifer after he was rescued from Hell in the next few days could all be part of the invasion force. All 3 being powers that be would present the invasion force with a strong force multiplier, however at the same time if all 3 were part of the invasion force the rest of the Empire would be left more vulnerable. On the other hand if some of them remained behind the invasion force would be weaker but the rest of the Empire would be less vulnerable. They failed to reach any conclusion regarding this decision but since assembling the invasion force would take a year or so they had plenty of time to make a final decision.

The meeting was about to conclude when Spotty was notified that Chief Ardon had signed the ascension treaty and was waiting outside to give it to her.

Spotty's Point of View

Spotty listened intently to the reports and estimates provided by her advisors, her mind racing through the logistics and strategic implications. The scale of the invasion was daunting, and the need to balance offensive and defensive capabilities was critical. The idea of a year-long preparation period was both a relief and a burden; it gave them time to prepare, but also meant a prolonged period of vulnerability. When the notification about Chief Ardon came, she felt a mix of satisfaction and apprehension—one major diplomatic success amidst a sea of impending war.

Lyra's Point of View

Lyra found herself both fascinated and anxious as the meeting progressed. The sheer scale of the planned invasion was unlike anything she had imagined. Her mind wandered briefly to her people, the Assurans, and how they would fit into this grand strategy. The practicalities of war and the moral implications weighed heavily on her. She knew that Spotty's leadership was crucial, but the potential for great loss was ever-present. The news about Ardon’s treaty provided a momentary distraction from the heavy topics at hand.

Grand Admiral David Lipovina's Point of View

Grand Admiral Lipovina was in his element, discussing fleet movements and logistical needs. The enormity of the operation was a challenge he relished, but he was also acutely aware of the risks. His primary concern was ensuring that the Empire remained defensively strong while committing such a vast force to the invasion. He knew that balancing these elements would be the key to their success. When the notification about Chief Ardon came, he mentally bookmarked it, ready to shift focus to this new development.

General Marko Novak's Point of View

General Novak’s thoughts were a mix of logistics and morale. Mobilizing a trillion-strong army was a Herculean task, and maintaining their morale and discipline would be equally challenging. The scale of the invasion demanded precise coordination and robust supply lines. He was also considering the psychological impact on both their troops and the civilians within the Empire. The news about Chief Ardon was a welcome diversion, offering a brief respite from the heavy planning.

Lord Asmodeus's Point of View

Lord Asmodeus was deeply absorbed in the discussion, his mind probing the unknowns about Lord Berith. The powers that be were unpredictable, and Berith's whereabouts were a significant concern. He felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension about the potential roles of Spotty, Ila, and Lucifer. Their presence would indeed be a game-changer, but their absence could leave the Empire vulnerable. As the notification about Chief Ardon came, he was reminded of the delicate balance of diplomacy and warfare that they had to maintain.

Fabricator General Shoddy's Point of View

Fabricator General Shoddy was focused on the practicalities of war production. His mind was running through production schedules, resource allocation, and technological innovations that could give them an edge. The one-year preparation period was both a challenge and an opportunity to refine their strategies and equipment. When the notification about Chief Ardon came, he felt a sense of accomplishment, knowing that every alliance strengthened their position.

Whistler's Point of View

Whistler felt overwhelmed by the scale of the discussion. His knowledge of the powers that be provided valuable insights, but the enormity of the planned invasion left him feeling a sense of foreboding. The potential for unprecedented conflict loomed large in his mind. The notification about Chief Ardon offered a brief moment of clarity, allowing him to refocus his thoughts and prepare for the next steps.

Ila's Point of View

Ila's perspective was unique, her knowledge of Hell's defenses and the powers that be giving her an edge in the discussions. She felt a mixture of determination and concern. The potential for a large-scale conflict was daunting, but the goal of liberating those trapped in Hell was a noble one. The notification about Chief Ardon was a welcome interruption, providing a moment to regroup before diving back into the complexities of their plans.

Random Imperial Marine's Point of View

The marine standing guard was vigilant and attentive, feeling a sense of pride in being part of such a crucial meeting. The scale of the invasion was awe-inspiring, and he felt a mix of excitement and apprehension about the coming conflict. When the notification about Chief Ardon arrived, he remained stoic, ready to perform his duty and escort the chief back into the chambers if needed.

Detailed Conversation

Grand Admiral David Lipovina: "The invasion of Hell is possible but will be difficult and will be the largest deployment of imperial forces yet. We will also need to keep a strong reserve force ready to defend our territory if the powers that be decide to retaliate."

General Marko Novak: "We'll need a trillion-strong army for the invasion, with additional reserves ready to support. This will require meticulous planning and coordination."

Lord Asmodeus: "And what of Lord Berith? His whereabouts are still unknown, and his presence could disrupt our plans significantly."

Fabricator General Shoddy: "Our industrial capacity is up to the task, but it will take a year to fully prepare. We are working around the clock to ensure everything is ready."

Whistler: "This is going to be the greatest war in the history of the multiverse. We need to be prepared for anything."

Ila: "We must also consider the strategic use of our forces. The presence of Spotty, Lucifer, and myself could turn the tide, but it also poses a risk to our overall defense."

Spotty: "We have time to make those decisions. For now, let's focus on the preparation."

At that moment, Spotty was notified that Chief Ardon had signed the ascension treaty and was waiting outside. She looked at her inner circle, ready to conclude this part of the meeting and address the next steps.

Spotty: "Very well. Let's address the matter of Chief Ardon's treaty."

Spotty stood up and said "Very well then start the preparations for the full scale invasion of Hell, but try to keep our exact goals for this large scale mobilization secret. While such a large mobilization can't be conducted in secret, its exact goals can be. We will meet again next week after one week once me, Ila, Lord Asmodeus and Whistler have rescued Lucifer from Hell, he will be able to provide us with more intelligence." she turned to one of the marine guards and added "and please get chief Ardon back here". The marine said "at once madam Empress" and gestured to a few other marines. Soon after chief Ardon was escorted back to the imperial war council chambers by a squad of Spartans. Chief Ardon bowed before Spotty and said "I have reviewed and signed the ascension treaty". Spotty walked to him took the treaty from him, shook his hand with a firm grip and said "Welcome to the Empire chief Ardon" Ardon had of course known about Spotty's strength but still winced slightly as she shook his hand, knowing about it and feeling it were two different things, especially considering that chief Ardon was a large towering figure even by Dralathi standards and Spotty looked like a skinny human female. In the background Lord Asmodeus chuckled to himself knowing that she had squeezed his hand with a small fraction of her strength, if she wanted she could have crushed his hand like it was nothing with ease.

Spotty's Point of View

Spotty felt a mixture of relief and determination as she addressed her inner circle. The decision to prepare for a full-scale invasion of Hell was momentous, and she knew it would require every bit of their strength and ingenuity. As she issued her orders and saw the marine acknowledge her command, she felt a sense of satisfaction. The empire was moving forward, and they would soon rescue Lucifer. When Chief Ardon returned and handed over the signed treaty, she felt a wave of pride. The Empire was growing, and their unity was their strength. She squeezed his hand just firmly enough to remind him of her power, knowing that it was important for all her allies to respect her strength.

Lyra's Point of View

Lyra listened carefully to Spotty's directives, her mind already racing with the logistical and political implications of such a massive mobilization. The secrecy of their true objectives was crucial, and she mentally prepared for the diplomatic efforts required to manage their allies and keep their enemies in the dark. When Chief Ardon returned, she observed the interaction with a keen eye. Spotty’s demonstration of strength was subtle but effective, and Lyra admired her friend’s ability to command respect.

Grand Admiral David Lipovina's Point of View

Grand Admiral Lipovina was already formulating plans in his head as Spotty spoke. The scale of the mobilization was immense, but he was confident in their ability to pull it off. The challenge would be maintaining secrecy about their true objectives. When Chief Ardon returned and Spotty shook his hand, Lipovina noticed the wince and smirked. It was a small but powerful reminder of the strength behind the Empire's leadership.

General Marko Novak's Point of View

General Novak was focused on the logistics of assembling a trillion-strong invasion force. Spotty’s directive to keep their true goals secret added another layer of complexity, but he welcomed the challenge. When Chief Ardon returned and signed the treaty, Novak felt a sense of relief. Integrating the Dralathi forces would be difficult, but it was a step towards strengthening their position.

Lord Asmodeus's Point of View

Lord Asmodeus felt a thrill of anticipation as Spotty issued her orders. The impending invasion was a historic moment, and he was eager to see how it would unfold. Watching Spotty shake Chief Ardon’s hand, he chuckled inwardly at the sight of the towering Dralathi wincing. It was a testament to Spotty’s control and power. He admired her ability to command such respect and was reminded of why he supported her so fully.

Fabricator General Shoddy's Point of View

Fabricator General Shoddy was already thinking about the industrial ramp-up required to support the invasion. The one-year timeline was tight, but manageable with efficient planning and execution. When Chief Ardon returned, Shoddy felt a sense of progress. The integration of Dralathi resources could provide a significant boost to their production capabilities.

Whistler's Point of View

Whistler remained quiet, his mind swirling with thoughts about the powers that be and the impending war. Spotty’s command to prepare for the invasion while keeping their true goals secret was prudent, but he worried about potential leaks. When Chief Ardon returned, he felt a brief moment of distraction. The treaty signing was a positive step, and Spotty's display of strength reassured him.

Ila's Point of View

Ila considered the strategic implications of the invasion. Her knowledge of Hell’s defenses would be invaluable, and she was eager to see Lucifer freed. Spotty’s orders to keep their goals secret resonated with her, knowing the powers that be were always watching. When Chief Ardon returned, Ila felt a mix of satisfaction and anticipation for the next steps.
